I just got a beltone trust, my first hearing aid. I can't figure out why when I touch the appararus behind my ear everyone can hear it. I turned volume down, ensured its in my ear properly, changed tip. Nothing is helping. Why is it doing that? My beltone app says remote help not available. Is that a weekend thing?!
What is it doing, whistling??? If you get to close to mine it will whistle. Dr said sometimes that means turned up to loud. Might try to see if turn down but it keeps up ask Dr to look at it cause it will cause a bear of a head ache if it keeps up.
My ENT told me it was because your hearing aids take the sound and make it louder if the tip is to covered with wax or water, or is just not in your ear all the way the sound will come out of your ear and with something solid like a hand to bounce off of it will make that loud noise even louder causing everyone around you to hear it.
