THIS IS GOING TO SOUND SILLY, BUT I ONLY HAVE THAT PROBLEM WHEN I HAVE TOO MANY SUGARS AND FATTY FOODS IN MY DIET. MY ENT DOCTOR RECOMMENDED CLEANING OUTER EAR WITH HEAD AND SHOULDERS SHAMPOO TWICE A WEEK AND ONCE A WEEK WITH HYDROGREN PEROXIDE MIXED WITH A COUPLE DROPS OF TEATREE OIL. IT CUT BACK ON THE NUMBER OF TIMES I NEEDED PRESCRIPTION.

WITH THAT SAID, MY CASE IS A LITTLE UNUSUAL. A LOT OF MY HEALTH ISSUE ARE MADE WORSE BY DIETARY ISSUES. WOULD BE INTERESTING TO HEAR WHAT OTHERS DO!

I am 100 % in favor of TreeTea Oil! It is good for many things, one of them is toe nail fungus. It kills the fungus dead and it does not come back! Perhaps the dermititis in your ears is a form of fungus? Use tree tea oil! From;

My husband used half alcohol and half white vinegar to clean his ears.

Dip a Q tip in tree tea oil and apply to outer parts of your ears, going just A LITTLE WAYS inside, not far enough to do damage. One dip should be plenty for both ears.

My husband used alcohol mixed with white vinegar and he said it worked for him! Same thing -- tip dipped in the mixture and applied to your outer parts of the ear.

Mine is driving me mad here lately. I always used peroxide BUT when I sweat here lately working in yard then it dries before I get a cHANCE to shower I ITCH NBAD!!!!!!!!!

When I worked at school, all the hearing aid wearers had to go to the school nurse regularly to have their ears cleaned and washed. Ear molds sometimes are the cause of a fungus in the ear and so you have to keep them very sanitary!
