For anyone who has or wants to know more about Hyperacusis. To talk with others who are experiencing daily challenges, find treatments and answers to questions
Hello!
My name is Christine and I am currently an Audiology student at the University of Minnesota. As partial credit for a class I am currently enrolled in I have been asked to give a presentation on a topic of my choice. I currently work with a young woman who suffers with hyperacusis and find the topic not well understood by myself and my fellow classmates. I have therefore chosen to do a class presentation on hyperacusis that will largely highlight stories of people who live with hyperacusis. My classmates and I could read all of the published texts on hyperacusis, but not really understand it until we meet someone who can provide us with a personal experience. If you are willing to spend a little time answering some questions, my classmates and I would be very appreciative!
*Please note that information you provide is intended to be shared with my class.
