The name doesn't really tell who they were. It's kind of like a label... A male or female. Mom or Dad, sister or brother. We discussed how the first date tells of their birth onto this earth and the second date is their birth into Heaven. The dash tells who they are...

When I was doing our family tree, it was hard to read what was written. The weather eroded the stone. I couldn't understand why other tombstones were so legible, yet my gr, gr, grandfather wasn't. As I dug deeper into his life, I found out that he didn't have much money. Limestone was the cheaper than others.
At the present time, my husband sits on the mantel. After 3 yrs, I think about putting him in a final resting place. However, this is a big decision for me. Not only due to cost, but the decision of where, and should I buy 2 slots, 1 for him and 1 for me, or just one. I have no idea what my future entails, or where I will be. Yet, I don't want him to be alone.
