i dont see things...but for weeks i have heard noises..ever since i began packing my house in earnest... and last night, on what would have been our 25th anniversary..i walked into our kitchen barefoot..and stepped on some beads like she used to use to make her beaded jewelry..since all of that stuff has been packed up for weeks, that made me wonder whats going on, especially given the significance of the day..

the noises have started again tonight.. keeps sounding like someone moving stuff around in the front of the house..dont feel like walking out there at the moment..

Well, call me crazy. Last night I really looked at the mist hovering over my bed. It looked like hands forming, like trying to touch me. Maybe I just want to know he's there, or maybe he hasn't left. Who knows what really happens to them after they are gone? My husband died of suicide, in my back yard. I believe he went to heaven, and his spirit lives on in his loved ones. I think my kids would freak, if they knew about this. Just very strange.

Several months back I went thru a period where I heard voices like people talking in another room, distant enough that I couldn't make out what they were saying. It happened several times. I was in bed reading, I was alone in the house and it was very quiet. I live out in the country so it wasn't coming from outside. On two occasions something appeared that looked like a heat shimmer moving along one wall in the bedroom. The second time I saw this I turned toward what was her side of the bed and a very bright light flashed in my eyes. I believe in a life after this one, spinning on a different plain that intersects with this one. Sometimes that intersection is very close, close enough to sense. Capri used to feel it sometimes. I suppose that's where I get it from. These things didn't frighten me but instead brought me some peace.

Sometimes I seem to see a small shadow flying about a foot above the top of the stairs or by the railing of those stairs. Like in a blink of an eye kind of thing and round the size of my palm if that...I will usually look towards the t.v or the window to see if it could have cast a shadow but it never feels like that. When that happens I think of him...It never used to happen prior to his passing and we had been in this house 5.5 years so I think I would have noticed that...

First let me tell you I don't think you are crazy....I am at 6 years too and I still have signs and I know they come from my husband. Of course they are not as often as they used to be but they still happen. It does seem they are more inventive now then they were. I believe in life after death and these things that happen just make me believe more.

One of my husbands favorite things was the hawk. He could spot them anywhere. I never seen them unless he pointed them out. The morning after he died I went out on the balcony and there was a hawk soaring above me. I see them everywhere I go. I recently drove from Arizona back to Ohio and I seen them the whole way. Makes me feel like he's watching out for me.

The book “Hello From Heaven” mentions many of the things being talked about here! Loved that book.
It mentioned “communications” ten or more years after a loved one’s death too.
Dcheramie- those beads were definitely a sign from your wife, letting you know she is thinking of you! I’ve read where the dead leave us feathers and coins...or come “visit” as birds or butterflies or animals.
My husband has left a penny for me to find on the floor of his office once or twice. I know they were not there before. Makes me know he is wanting me to think of him :-)

I 've collected feathers that I've found in the most unusual places. My heart skips a beat each time i find one. It's always a surprise and the nicest feeling comes over me. I know he's having a little fun with me and the feathers. Once I found one right near our granite bench at the cemetery..That one really made a believer in feathers out of me. I think we'll all agree we enjoy these signs as they occur. Dolores

My husbands room is shut off from the rest of the house. Yesterday I was in kitchen doing dishes. Sitting on a stool, as I have inner ear virus and am dizzy a lot the last few weeks. His bedroom door opened wide, then shut partially back, but not all the way. I am standing in the kitchen door, watching. The front door opened as well as the storm door. Like someone was going out it. I was here alone. I walked over to the front door, shut it, then to his door and shut it. Many times my son and I have been sitting in the livingroom watching a TV program, and the front door will open, and stay open. My dog will bark, act scared and go right under my feet. Sandee

I haven't seen things but I think my husband slapped me on my butt when I stood in the living room by the tv like he used to do when he was alive. or it was the biggest butt cramp I ever had.

My husband was a musician and always carried guitar picks. I found several here and there after he died in strange places, but when I re-married a non musician and moved to his little ranch I was blown away to find a guitar pick in the driveway one day when I was walking. I believe their angels can let us know they are watching out for us. I knew when I found that pick that he was telling me I made a good choice and that he will always be there in spirit with me.
