I read this today in a longer article. It speaks volumes to me.
"Truth be told, happiness is not the absence of problems, but the ability to deal with them. Imagine all the wondrous things your mind might embrace if it weren't wrapped so tightly around your struggles. Always look at what you have, instead of what you have lost. Because it's not what the world takes away from you that counts, it's what you do with what you have left."
I believe this to be true - and I try to count my blessings daily. Also when I feel that life is unfair and I can't take it any more! I hope this encourages you to remember that "Yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery; today is a gift -- that's why we call it the present."

A man from my past sent me 3 emails today and they were frightening. So of course I start missing having my husband for protection. I had told God if He left me alone long enough I would get in trouble, well I was right. But I know that God is in complete control and knows all things and He is well able to take care of me. It is Him that brought my husband and I together and He wants only the best for me so I choose to thank Him for SO many blessings! Again, thank you for the reminder!
