It was dead on for me. It even said that my personality type will move on quickly after a relationship ends. As those here know me, that gave me some comfort. I'm not a floozy after all! It helped me understand too why it was so easy to care for my husband while he was dying. I like to make people happy. I joke. I encourage. My weaknesses are not speaking up for my own needs and not realizing my own needs because I'm wrapped up in making other people happy. Also, not letting my kids have their own personalities because I'm value driven and I want them to be value driven as well.
So, I'm working on my weaknesses. Voicing my own needs. Making sure my needs are met. Letting my kids have their own personalities. SO TOUGH, because I am so value driven.
Anyway, it also said that my type makes great teachers and counselors. Guess which 2 career paths I chose. Uh huh! :) it was interesting and insightful for me.
I went in the science field, which is kinda rare for that type, but hey, it worked for me.

Of course if you just flip through the questions without thinking too much about it you will get a garbage result. They usually will try to asertain the info by asking the same question in several ways.
I know for me the generalizations that they make about my behavior is good. I do have few friends, but they are very close. It helps to understand why we might act differently than others.
So just take your time and give it a try. Or not :)

Bob, it too am in a computer field and spent years in finance. This may explain why so many told me they had never met an accounting person like me!
Creative in the arts I am not. Creative solutions to problems at work I can do in a millisecond. Intuition on the other hand has always been my mode of operation. It was 100% correct in that!
As I journey on this path I am always curious for additional input to help me understand me. This is yet another tool in the toolbox that after four years has helped me learn how to live.
Mel, thanks for the post.
No offense taken. Like I said, I consider it one of many tools in the toolbox. After living this life now for over four years I can certainly attest that my life no longer fits into any pre-defined pigeon holes.
Take care, Karen
It seems to be fairly accurate, maybe, a little off on a couple of things for me ~~ but, not by much!! Thanks for the link to do the test asarivg, and Mel for posting.
