I don't know why I'm in a funk. I guess it's because I feel lonely, have no plans for New Years, had a bad day at work, whatever it is, I miss coming home to someone to talk to. I miss having my husband's arms around me, listening to me vent. I guess I posted here because, most of you are alone too. I know I go out, but it's only once a week or so. It's not the same as having someone with you every night. Guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself. Thanks for listening.

I know exactly how you feel.It is so hard to not have someone hold you in there arms and you could vent and they would put their arms around you and tell you everything was going to be alright.It is so lonely sometimes and I don't care how hard you try to fill your life with other things it is still very lonely.

Alone or not, we've all experienced exactly what you're feeling at some point in this journey because we've all endured the loneliness that comes with losing our mate...

A big hug to you Paula......have any leftover CAKE.....M&M's.......??? Just asking. I used to go up to Jerry and just ask ''Are we going to be ok?' - it could be about finances, health, anything. And he would say ''stick with me, we will be GREAT'' and he would give me a hug. His hugs were so warm and wonderful. Ya know - I immediately believed that everything would be great. So sad. Vicki, I have leftover eggnog fudge, rocky road fudge, pumpkin cheesecake, and pecan pie. It's funny how I stay away from it at home, but put me at a party and all is game. I guess I'm waiting to share it, hope it doesn't spoil in the process.
