It's just so weird how everything changes. I don't want people to think anything but at the same time, I know the truth and don't want to compromise myself. I can be true to myself. Sloooowwww....
A simple yet effective tool here is to go with one’s gut. If a person has a history of over-communicating and their gut is telling them to slow down, the gut is probably right on.
Life is scary when you don't have guidance. I read scripture and it helps but it doesn't say anything about dating over 40. I know we have headed into a relationship. Nobody had to say it.
It's just weird.
Add to that I will be a grandmother in October and again in November.
Really? I'm 41, dating and about to be a grandmother? How did that happen?
(Dating is fun. Grand kids will be fun, too.)
You will enjoy being a grandmother! It's better than being the mom as you have the best of 2 worlds. You spoil, love and have fun with them and then when they are tired they go home! I have been blessed with 7 grandchildren so far!!!
Last night, we were sitting outside and saw a shooting star. I had nothing to wish for. I am pretty content with everything I've got.
The thought of becoming a grandmother is nice. I hear so many praises about it. But it scares me that one will be born in Oct and the other in Nov. that's a lot at once! I will start working on what kind of grandma I want to be and worry less about dividing my attention.
