Hi, everyone. I'm back. I'm still a widow. I ended the marriage I had gotten in to a year ago. I'm not sad or unhappy, just sorry that we had to go our separate ways. We were not suited at all in our lifestyle. We thought that since we were both widowed, we would be a good match. Well, it takes a lot more in common than to both be widowed.

He is a very nice man and we parted still very good friends. Just rotten roommates. I feel very relieved because I was feeling like I was living with the wrong person. I feel free now to be ME.

Don't be sad because I am not sad. We sat together in church last Sunday and everything was fine. We will still do things together.

My good news is that I am "content", maybe even a little "happy". Maybe I never needed another person in my life. I was in such deep depression, and now I feel good. I had my total knee replacement and can now go and do anything I want to. So I have that blessing. I have moved into my own home (not the one I used to live in) and am close to town. I love my church and keep my precious grandson every day. Life is good and I have my memories. No one will ever replace my Joe. We were perfect together. I thank God for that.
