HOPEFUL HEARTS...LIVING AGAIN AFTER THE LOSS Community Group
We are a group of people who have grieved the loss of a spouse, partner, or lover and are searching for a life without our mate. Some looking for their own identity as an individual or finding a life for themself. Some looking for companionship or a serious relationship with someone new. And some just feeling lost and unsure. We offer encouragement, support and virtual...
Do you think men gravitate toward you because of the positive energy that surrounds you? Maybe its that glow you get? Maybe its the inspiration you feel when your with someone you really like?
Just sayin...

This is kinda off topic but:
I know I'm ignorant to all this online crap & although I met someone online but believe it or not prior to (not that its wrong) I had never really chatted with anyone (especially a man) I didn't know unless it was brief to get information. I haven't the slightest clue about dating online. I think if I was to read some of the profiles I may run as well, or spend much of my time emailing them a clue about their ignorance (not that I'm Ms. Grammar) which wouldn't get me far in the dating scene.
I have asked questions just out of curiosity & learned to some its a big game and its not necessarily the men all the time but the women are really good at it. Its not just a cat and mouse for sex but a meal ticket... These multiple profile holders are on different sites preying on those who are interested in something genuine...If I was a man would fear these women would have me robbed if I went out with them...
I personally believe you most cases you get what you pay for. If I were to try to date online I may consider using a service that I had to pay some kind of fee that would to at least allow me to weed out "some" of the "real winners" out there...Not that they are any better than the rest but it does show some effort & the possibly the man has a j.o.b. or some sort of income.
Vicki is right....you magnets out there....share some secrets!! :)
I did hear a good line the other day tho: "I'm waiting on the one who is waiting for me".
OK, carry on...I'm done.
I just got an email from someone on SeniorPeopleMeet after me telling him I wouldn't give him my personal email address because I would prefer to get to know him in the "safety zone" of the dating site. He wrote back and told me he was honorable and respectful and he was sorry I didn't trust him. Well, if he's so honorable and respectful then why does it have to be his way or no way? This is what I mean by just doing what you have to till the right person comes along that raises enough interest to pursue a conversation to see if it goes any further. The good news is there is no lack of interest, the bad news is waiting for the better ones to show up, sometimes it takes awhile.
I am finding out though that there is no such thing as a perfect man just as there is no perfect me. What I have found is that you can find perfect in our imperfections with the right person. Who could ask for more than that?
As far as the "feast and famine" thing, it happens all the time here. Sometimes there's nothing going on and other times it almost seems overwhelming. Just all depends.....on nothing in particular really.

I know the dreaded video cam may seem a little intimidating at first; however, how much worse can it be than seeing them across a crowded bar/restaurant and it is much easier to hit end than walk out, right? Heck, if you really want you can keep your flannel jammy bottoms on...Tee-hee and he'll never know!
