Yes you read right, I am now engaged! Seems funny to be saying that at my age. Not sure when we will get married he has his vacation set for July and October so we are trying to figure out where we want to go for a honeymoon. I know sounds weird to be saying that. I have a passport he doesn't and he would rather stay in the states, so if any of you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate hearing about them. He asked me on Monday and I told my kids and sisters and brothers. My grandkids asked if they could be flower girl and ring barrier. I told them we weren't having a big wedding and they said that's alright we can still be them. (LOL) They truly love him, that is my grandkids. My daughters have come around for dinners and holidays my son still has not met him. He told his mother and brothers yesterday. I also told T.J. (pathoflife) as she reminds me so much of my Mom, absolutely love her. And now I am telling all of my friends at DS. Haven't told our friends back home yet it just seems so weird. We went to the LSU baseball game last weekend and had a blast just being together and when we got home on Monday night he popped the question and I said YES. There's just something about him that I feel I have known him forever. We both feel like our previous spouses had something to do with us meeting. With him at my side life has begun again. It is truly wonderful to feel this way. (P. S. I still have good days and bad days I don't think they go away you just realize everything happens for a reason and I don't know why. But I feel like God has put us together for a reason and we plan on being HAPPY!) Hugs, Andree'
