Recently my daughter and I were talking about a man that asked me to dance at a celebration I went to. Anyways, she started to talk about whenever or if ever I am ready to start dating, she couldn't wait until I bring my "dates" to meet my family. She said, " I can't wait to make fun or criticize your dates, just like you and Dad did whenever my dates came to pick me up." Of course, as a young lady, she didn't understand that her Dad and I thought that no young man was good enough for our "little girl." She is married now to a great man, with a almost 18 year old daughter, who is bringing home a boyfriend, who isn't good enough, in their eyes. All kidding aside, it kind of makes me nervous about introducing anyone to my family. I haven't been out on a date with any one yet, still not quite ready but I am hopeful that I will not be lonely for the rest of my life.
