We went out to eat and then to a haunted Valentine House. Yep, I grabbed on tight and flung him between me and the monsters! Afterward we sat and talked for 2 hours. I really enjoyed it and really enjoyed getting to know him. I like him more, so to speak. He's very open about his insecurities and vulnerabilities. Very unusual for a man and I have to wonder how feminine he is. He shares with little hesitation. Afraid of heights. Afraid of ghosts. Afraid of me finding somebody else. Afraid that he will make bad choices.
I shared how overwhelmed I feel by the feelings I have for him and he agreed that he feels overwhelmed as well. He also shared that he finds himself thinking about me as he's falling asleep. He's very understanding of my hesitation to rush into a relationship. He's also very understanding that I will always be in love with Mike #1. It almost makes it really easy for me to listen to his pain caused by divorce. Different stories but same outcome. Single in our 40's after 24 years of being with someone and still raising kids.
