So sorry to hear this Mel. Our hearts are raw enough, but there must be a reason and so concentrate on the fact that maybe this wasn't the right one or right time. God knows and is watching over you

I can sense God's presence. He is with me and for me. This is just a new experience is all and I thought the scar on my heart would protect me from this kind of pain. It didn't.

So sorry Mel. It is grieving albeit it is a bit different but still grieving.
I went through the same thing in August and still today it cuts to the core. I cry all the time and keep trying to figure out what went wrong. And on top of all that I live in the same house as him.
We are strong and we will survive.

I am sorry Mel. My husband died in 2011 from suicide. I had stage 4 cancer when he died. I followed your story because I too began dating a man in January 2015 that I met on match. We are still together, dream of some day making our lives one but we are in no hurry. . I fear someday may heart will get broken. He has the same fear. . You and your fiancé had a lot of good times together and even though it didn't end the way you wanted, it has taught you a lot and now you know, you can love again. A broken heart is part of taking a chance when you give or receive love. Best wishes to you

Mel, I moved from CO to Las Vegas. I didn't know what to do. I pulled up in a Uhaul with a few items in back, my Harley, towing my car and my 2 dogs. I had driven 15 hours and when he answered the door he turned around and walked away. I followed him and gave him a hug, that's when he told me that he did not want to be with me but I could rent his second bedroom. He then insinuated that he was dealing with some stuff and we would see how/if it would work out between us. So being the patient person I am I settled in and gave him his space. Then after 5 months he told me that he wanted to be transparent with me and he let me know that he did not want anything to do with my as a partner, but he would love it if we could be friends.
He has changed he is struggling with depression and has gained a ton of weight. I still love him so it's very painful.
