Today, I have a greater sense of peace than I have felt all year. I've had acceptance and understanding and I've had peace but not total peace.
Last week was awful. Stress and tears. I do feel however that I emptied the cup. I'm sure tears will come again but it won't be the tears that rock the body or won't stop. I just know this.
I feel like my soul is whole again. I can live my life in peace.

Who knew????
There may be other levels that follow this. I can't predict but I wanted to share that it's become easier. And I'm actually grateful for this day.

I think many things happen in one year and again at two years. Every milestone. I remember the pain leading up to and at one year. I remember thinking "whew, I made it" and thinking somehow it would be easier then. I think just more real, and clear. Blessings on your continued journey

You are accepting the blow to your soul and won't surrender to it for your life. That's a major accomplishment. You spend your time feeling the loss, yet know you can survive tomorrow. Without both the emotions of sadness and survival we couldnt build a better us. You have much to accomplish and you will. Besides you are becoming more inspiring to us as you share your travels. Thank you ladies! My spirit has been on fire today. So much peace and joy. I think it's all the prayers being lifted up for me. I got cards from friends who remembered. One person I barely know. That's amazing. And it's the spirit of love. I am more than lucky. Last week, I had some rough days. Looking at pictures and thinking "that life didn't happen to me."
Saturday, I threw a bridal shower for my future DIL. That was fun! Before the party, I had to remind myself that it is not about me. Ever. The party was great. 10 minutes in, I was no longer a shell. I was fulfilled. Serving others and looking at the future.
