sectary of state hillary should be the next president after obama service for eight years. i know he will get the country strighten out as he appointed great people to cabinet postes.
it is know clear that hillary will not get the nomination. i feel at times maybe i should vote republican for the first time mccain is a vietnam veteren. i don't like him because he wants a hundred year war in iraq and he thinks are economy his great. i hate obauma goes i believe that he won't help are friends isreal if iran attacks them hillary would i am afraid if we get attack like we did on 9-11 he won't do a damn think about it. so sometimes i think mccain is the best of two evils than sometimes i think obauma is the best of two evils. i do not know how i will vote between these two. i will vote for one of them likely make a choice in voting both and hold my nose because i hate both of them. does anyone eles fell that way?
I will vote for obama before I'd vote for McCain for two reasons. 1.)he told steelworkers that the industrial age is over, it's the information age and they should adapt to the changing times and globalization. And 2.) on his tv ads here, he suggests IMPORTING more prescription medications as a way to help lower costs.
I see major problems with both things he said... first, the need for manufacturing has NOT ceased just because someone declared this the information age... things still need made. The only difference is WHERE stuff is made. Importing medication is just having meds made cheaper someplace else so companies can swell their profits while sharing a small portion of the cost savings by slightly lowering prices.
The problems I see are very scary... when a country no longer makes stuff, when manufacturing ceases, the trades fade off and new generations don't learn how to make and maintain the machines uses to make things... that leaves a country vunnerable. Someday, this nation could be at war right here on American soil with our government trying to import ammunition from our enemy.
As for importing medications... it is a known fact that alot of people in this world do not like us... why would we want people who do not like us to make our medications??? Remember the tainted tylenol? That sparked a bunch of laws to monitor and control medication production here in the USA, that's when they started using safety seals and tamper evident plastic bands and everything to protect the consumors. Those are USA laws... and USA laws are only valid in the USA. We cannot monitor manufacturing facilities and enforce USA laws inside other countries. And our government can't even monitor the current items being imported into this country... otherwise all those leaded toys, the bad shrimp, and the poisoned pet food killing off people's puppies would have never made it to the stores. Who knows? Maybe that poison pet food was a test??? I don't want my medications made outside this country. SO I will NOT vote for McCain no matter what... some say he's the 3rd tem Bush canidate... I think he's WORSE than Bush.
Sorry so long... I get to writing and I can't stop.
I AM SO AGGRAVATED WITH THE WHOLE PROCESS. I DUN'T LIKE NcCAIN, I LIKE EVEN LESS. I WISH AN OVERWHELNIMG WRITE IN VOTE FOR GORE WOULD HAPPEN BUT THAT IS A DREAM..
I wanted to add if u vote for McCain and he wins it will be more yrs in the Middle East and more cuts on medical care for the poor and middle classes. No Obama is to me, the better of the two evils.
