I'm just wondering how many people have had Thyroid problems on TX and still have them Post TX. I have talked to some who do not have to do the meds anymore post TX, unfortunately I dont think I'm one. I find it very interesting how the side effects of TX totally mimic that of low thyroid disorder. As a matter of fact now looking back I feel my GI should have automatically put me on a hormone supplement in order not to damage the gland permanently. I have no medical experience, only TX experience. They prescribe anti depression meds are TX in order to alleviate depression, however, the symptoms are the same for thyroid as well!!! My question is, do all chemo patients suffer from thyroid damage and if so why arent the DRs helping you support this disorder properly with meds on TX? I was told that its rare to have your Thyroid damaged because of TX. Any info would be appreciated. Also for the newcomers on TX it would certainly help them. I had major problems with this issue on TX and I know by talking to quite a few members its common. Thank You in advance for any response and suggestions.
my GI check my thyroid before TX and told me thyroid problems is common for people that

3, went back up to 17 they kept raising med and after TX it was at 10 more meds .when will it end
