this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

Wer are completely gutting our front flower bed which actually has no flowers. It's all overgrown with three uncared for rose bushes that are overgrown, two intertwined shrublike trees, grass, weeds, it's a mess. We had to use our SUV to pull out one of two large bushlike weeds. Sorry but I don't know the correct names for half these plants. Anyway, it's all coming out. Lots of digging deep to get down far enough to the bottom of these root systems. Oh and the mint that has grown out of control. It's no wonder I called it the jungle. Will post before and after pics.

Wow lots of work! What will you be replacing the 'jungle' with...more bushes or all flowers?

Sounds like a project! I can relate a little - I have a front planter that needs filling. It had an evergreen that we took out but the root stumps are still there. We killed it with chemicals but never did dig out. I camouflaged with a little planter that I will fill with flowers - I'll post a pic. I'm
Not much of a gardener but this kind of a fun project.

My husband wanted to keep one of the bushes but i saId no. We agreed that I could design the front flower bed which will be all flowers and he can design the butterfly garden in the backyard. PLUS he wants to do a vegetable garden. Not sure how we're going to manage all this! lol

I dearly miss my veg garden. Nothing better than picking a mess of green beans and a big red tomato!

Here wishing I could bring you some of these beautiful low mantanice geraniums. They are beautiful and I just have to pile them out back Sad but true. And all has to be done it to dig a hole and stuff them in. That's it. Flowers galore.

Alice, I was looking at geraniums over the weekend and they were so lovely! Can you give yours away to neighbors and friends?

    DS, I just have to say that if I did not love my friends here on DS I would be gone in a heart beat!  I am at my wits end of losing posts!  It seems like the Gateway thing seems to be a you problem.  How can we fix it?  I always make sure that I am online and signed in before I hit send.Welcoming any suggestions other than the ones that I recieved before.
