helping with the housework Community Group

this is a group for those of us who are challenged by getting things around the house done....come tell us what has to be done and get support to and motivation to get that task done and brag about what you have gotten done daily! It is hard for some of us to begin an easy chore but when we are doing them and get them done do you not feel like telling someone? I do!

I'm on holidays this week, doing a short mini trip Friday-Saturday. With that in mind I am challenging myself (and anyone who wishes to join me) to complete one task each day that I have been procrastinating.

Todays task: I got an application months ago to sign up for a points card to a grocery store I sometimes go to. Today I will complete the application!!

Day one: challenge complete
I had signed up for a Scene card ages ago then lost it...may seem silly but I'm not always so good with the computer stuff. I have reinstated the card! It means a small discount at the expensive theatre plus earn pints toward free movie.

I missed day one. Today I changed our sheets. No idea why I was procrastinating this. We've been talking about doing this for days and every night as we crawled into bed we would say...tomorrow :)

Day two challenge complete, pretty much: signed up for PC points card (grocery store card). Except I did not get confirmation email...this is one reason I do tend to procrastinate / it seems nothing is simple or goes like it should !!!

Monday I did get 4 loads of laundry done and put away yay and Tuesday went to Wal Mart and also did some bills. Wed I am hoping to run the sweeper and mop, as you said Tiger day 3 is a biggie for me.

I missed most of the challenge....but I have an item I am procrastinating....it is installing the new door handle in my car after I broke it again....I already have the handle out in car just sitting on seat...but taking the door panel off and then fixing it seems to be something I am avoiding because I get frustrated when it does not go my way....but I did it before even more difficult way I cannibalized the handle off the back door and moved those parts needed to front door....well I broke front door again...but I had found a replacement part online before and replaced the back door handle already with the new part....it is not that hard but I just cannot get the umph to to out there and do it....and now we expect rain any moment and I do not want to sit in car with door open and raining...LOL any excuse right? <LOL
I did however just pooper scoop my back yard and got it all up....I could cut the grass now and it would be safer than mine field of dog poops...LOL I am glad I got that done before rain because rain makes the poops a bit harder to get up and soggy mucky crapola

Some days are just tough and when its raining I don't blame you for not getting out there and fixing it. Wed. I didn't do anything but the dishwasher, felt bad all day and hoping Thurs. I can be productive. Oh I forgot I did do my 2 mile workout Wed. but I was very slow at it.. ugh
