Wow you were busy! I have a small garden done but need to pick up shovels and such. I was just too tired and hot but today is to be mid 70s so hope to get rest of the back yard mowed and stuff put away.
Also need to get things out of back of the small garage that we will need or get rid of before the wood pellet delivery comes soon and fills it up again. My daughter wants our 8' folding table so need to pull that out and will put on top of the pellet skids until she can get here to take home.

Wow, Heidi, that is a lot to get done. Good for you! It is beautiful weather here, I hope you have it there too. I am going to get flowers to take to the cemetery today. I did not realize that will keep them watered all season. Glad to hear that. My MIL has a planter for Tom's grave and his 2 brother's. They are all in the same general spot. Her husband is in a different cemetery so we will stop at that one first. My parent's and grandparent's, aunt's and uncle's is across town so I doubt we will make it to that one today. My Dad and Uncle Bill were both WWII vets, Bill was a decorated vet, so they will have the little flag. I do want my little boy to see that but we will go soon.

I stripped my bed this afternoon before student today....that is it...but I need to do the laundry now because most of my nice pillow cases are really ready to be washed....thats the ones that match the sheets on it now too....so I just need to move the metal part of crock pot off the washing machine and anything else piled on there and do laundry tonight....I should also dust mop and also swiffer wet jet the entire kitchen and dining room floors...

Yesterday, we flipped the mattresses for the bed and put on all clean bedding. I did my weekly shopping at 7 this morning, way before I'm usually even awake. Watered the trees and roses ahead of predicted 100 degree heat. Picked some cherry plums off the tree. Yum.

Sounds like a lot of us had a productive weekend. Yeah.

I did not do much for the house today....I did manage to get a free key made at kiosk at Menards with coupon they sent with my bill...LOL I still need to test it to see if it works....I bought one for my sister from same kiosk and it does not work....I had to drive back to Menards from Moms house where key is for lock....then they told me I needed to go back to Kiosk and call 800 number to get refund.....so I did...got my work out walking in Menards store tonight...LOL

I went to a small town hardware store and got a key for Mom as she too had a key to lock on her house that did not work right....the one I bought worked fine....tomorrow I will go back to that small town hardware store and get the key that the kiosk messed up made....correctly this time....but come to think of it I have yet to test my free key to see if it works or not?

Marion my mattress is a sleep number bed and the thing does not ever get flipped...it has air bags under the cover that goes over it....I bought a cheapo vinyl cover to put on it and when I installed it the thing tore badly on my side of the bed....I kept it on because it will protect even with the tear on side of it....I wanted it because I have IBS and have been known to poop my bed accidentally....when I asked Sleep Number 800 # about getting new cover for the air bags it was as expensive as buying a brand dang new bed from them.....so the thing is not washable in machine either....they say spot wash it with soap and water.....yeah right....

Bill, so sorry about the IBS troubles. Mine is very mild. It's ridiculous the kind of money they ask for the replacement parts. I have a product that I use when one of my dogs have an accident. There are many brands. It is an enzyme mixture that "eats up" a stain and also deodorizes the fabric. The enzymes keep working for quite a while. I understand that the sleep number bed is very comfortable. It is worth it to keep it in good shape.

Because my mattress has a 3 in attached pillow top, when I flip it, I can't flip it over, I just switch the direction of the mattress. So the head goes where the foot was and the foot goes where the head was :) It's adjustable where the head and the foot raises so I can change positions to get more comfortable.

BTW, would duct tape help with the tear or is it beyond that?

yes it is beyond duct tape....the tear is ok though because it is on side of the mattress not top....so the top still has vinyl covering it....

PS they gave me a refund minus shipping fees....yeay!
