i have never gone to one but I did want to talk to a medium. I read the book Hello Anyone Home and its comforting and when i read it, i feel that it is someone from the other side talking through the medium. let me know if you go and how you made out.

The only thing you gonna get is demons talking to you. Forget this idea.

I've seen a couple, with no luck hearing anything from mum. But I plan to keep trying over the years. Good luck if you do go, I hope you hear what you need.

The Book Hello Anyone Home is exactly what you said its the other side talking to a medium but this person has faith. What's out there today in mediums, i don't know if i could trust them casue people say demons come out and that's one thing i don't want to be around. let me know if you did go though and how you made out.

I went. She was great but expensive...a cold reading; It was comforting. Want to go back but can't afford it

Back here again. Another experience that I had several years ago was at the Edgar Cayce Center in Virginia. They had psychics there doing readings. There was this kid there who couldn't have been more than in his early twenties. He said some things that did not make sense at the time but later did.
For example in terms of my infertility, he said that I would have a girl but I had a boy. However around the same time we did foster care with many girls--not all at once.
He also said, " You have alot of medical problems some of them are in your blood: true, autoimmune stuff. He was pretty right on in telling me what to do.
It was a strange experience because he was so young

I did see a psychic a few years back. I thought that she did a good job--In fact I realized after the reading that she picked up on more that I realized during the session. She was able to pass on some information from my mother. She said that she appreciated my bringing all of the family together while she was dying. There was so much family tension and some people wanted to withdraw life support before one of her nephews was able to be there--- I fought for him to be there. He was her oldest grandson...and she was close to her. So this insight was dead on. She also mentioned a man having nicotine on his fingers....you don't see that any more. My mother's uncle, who served as her father while she was growing up...he smoked no filter cigarettes and had yellow fingers....I said, "My uncle Johnny?" She said "He came to get her when she died". She also said "I sense someone having trouble breathing and I said " Oh, no that would be my father". But later I realized that she was on a ventilator because she had pulmonary emboli, and died of pneumonia. I was thinking of my father's COPD. This are just a couple of examples but truly I think she was "the real thing". I don't think she could have googled these things. They were things not known to anyone else. I would encourage see a psychic...but get a referral..someone asking for too much money I would avoid. I had a patient who was psychic....I never said a word to her, but was thinking about the psychic that I had seen, hoping that she was NOT reading my mind. She said "They're not supposed to ask for money you know" GASP. I guess that was her opinion but she certainly read my mind.
