Get the feeling no one is really checking in on this group anymore, but anyway..

My 5yo son had a dream last night about his Nanna, his first, after almost 2 and a half years since losing her.

In his dream Mum gave him a cuddle and told him she loved him and he told her he loved her back,

So beautifully simple. Longing for a dream like that.

How sweet god allows these consultations what a wonderful blessing for him and you as we'll they stay close to our souls after they are gone god bless you and your son

I'm so glad about that dream. It just makes you feel so good and especially coming to your son and he told you this. I wish I could have those good dreams again. your right, when i first came on two years ago its like we all FOUND each other at the right time. I do notice that unless its someone from within that 2 year period, it seems to have changed. I really think at that time, for some reason, we had a very good and strong support group. i guess it all seemed to happened to all of us around that same time, we were BLESSED to have found each other. we all do need to keep in touch, i'm going to start writing everyone just to keep back in touch. tc laura

What a beautiful dream. Yes, I long to see my mother too, but have no lucid dreams about her. My sisters do but I do not. However, I do now feel that she is with me.
Nice post. I had not checked this group in awhile either.

Yes I too have had many dreams of love one I've lost come too me I have for seen things in dreams before they have happened also!!! Its crazy but they do talk to you threw your dreams.

its true i came onto DS 2 yrs ago and there was always replies for everything, i have noticed its like things have changed in here and i don't know why. I feel, during that time, daily strength was filled with a lot of compassionate and helpful ppl. maybe it was when I did come on that others had similar problems at the same time and that's why we all bonded, i don't know. i still go on trying to help others though i don't come on as much, funny as it seems. tc

I lost my dad 22 years ago, my husband 18 years ago and my mom almost 11 years ago.
I am blessed to have dreams about them almost every night. They have been coming for about 5 years. My husband doesn't come as often as mom and dad. The dreams are happy not troubling the only problem is my dream life is so rich I would rather be asleep than awake. So I sleep an awful lot, much more than I should.

ElizabethEmily, I know what you feel because when I dream of my mom I don't want it to end. I actually go to sleep hoping I can have that same feeling again.

Katc77 -- that's so nice what your son is experiencing. If its only her and him in the dream its a contact from her. when others are in the dream alot of ppl then its a dream. do you understand what i'm saying. tc
