I dont seem to be able to find any resources for family members. My husband had a heart attack Memorial day 2010. He had a valve replacement and some bypass also. His hospital corse was awful, including a psychotic episode requiring restraints and sedation and at one point they found him dead on the floor of the ICU and had to do cpr. He doesnt remember much of his 3 week hospital stay, however I sure do. I have nightmares about all this, its affecting me in other areas of my life also . we are both depressed. He wont go for counseling,our relationship is suffering to the point that I fear a breakup. We have other stressors in our life also, any spouses out there who want to share their experiences. Am I alone in feeling this way?
