Healing the Child Within Community Group
This is a safe haven for victims of childhood abuse and their loved ones to share stories, sympathies, and tips for healing. Whether verbal, physical, or sexual in nature, the effects of childhood abuse can be permanently scarring. Together, though, we can find strength and solace in each other.
I was sexually abused for several years as a small child and then when I was 19 I was raped and beaten by my (at the time) best friends husband. I have cervical scaring from the trauma that was done. I have very sharp and acute pains that come out of no where and are not surrounding my period at all. I have always thought that it was caused my the cervical scaring, which yes to a certain extent it is, but the severity can not be medically determined. I have recently found out about body memories and am wondering if that has been what is happening to me. I see my T next week and will be talking to her about it but just from the things I have read about body memories it makes sense for what is happening to me.

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
