I'm 55 too, and my memory is worse when I'm worried and then I get scatter brained.

I too have memory problems, I see a definit link with stress in my own life. Genetics are surely a factor, you should see my mother. But then again she's 73. I'm convinced the hep C is definitly adding to the problem. I was reading somewhere on the net (imagine, I don't remember where) I think H C advocat, that the more scerossis advances, certains types of toxins are not properly filtered out by the liver and causes memory loss. Anyways, no you,re not alone.

I remember now, a friend of mine here in town finished 26 weeks of treatment for Genotype 2 and he says his short term memory is shot.

Yes I have memory recall difficulties. Some of it is probably the infamous Hep-C "Brain Fog" I've heard of so many times. Some of it seems to be related to medications as well. Just my personal experience.

Foggy, and my brain freezes. I can' think, I can't focus, it is dangerous for me to drive. My memory is shot. I hear that we will be tremendously clear headed when we stop the meds'!

I can't even daydream anymore, as my mind keeps wandering.
