It is a very bioactive form of vit. B9 or folic acid. It is also called
Levomefolic acid and crosses the blood brain barrier effectively.
Has anyone here tried this?
@ 15mg, (calcium salt form) I found the serotonin effect very pronounced. It didnt make me jump for joy, but it did lighten the emotional load, so to speak. I only take it 2-3 times a week at most.
I'm still undecided about any pain benefits. I think it probably helps with the "coping" part of pain.
Maybe this might help somebody here, it does help me somewhat. (way better than pharms for sure)
wow, thanks for sharing this. I was at my wit's end today, so desperately upset. I'm fine now, but I will check this out, since they stopped making the Lithium Orotate I was using. for depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, all that rot. LOL I just found out a friend who did the treatment back in 02 was diagnosed with Diabetes 3. Never had heard of it, it's a form of Alzheimer's/ She also was diagnosed with non alcoholic fatty liver. She's had so many problems from that treatment of Interferon/Riba and even though she cleared the virus has been sick with one thing after the other since.

Those who take ordinary folate supplements, however, may not be experiencing its full spectrum of effects. This bioactive folate is up to seven times more bioavailable than folic acid. This greater bioavailability is especially important in people who have a genetic enzyme deficiency since it requires no conversion to become metabolically active.
A study of 10 patients with endothelial dysfunction showed complete reversal of endothelial impairment after 5-MTHF supplementation compared with healthy control patients.
People with elevated homocysteine levels have a greater risk of cognitive decline. Unlike folic acid, 5-MTHF is able to cross the blood-brain barrier, which is especially important for people with cognitive difficulties to enhance the synthesis of acetylcholine in the brain — the neurotransmitter associated with memory.
