So I've been trying really hard to surrender to the idea of treatment and was planning to start soon. But I read on the main board about a combo of drugs with very low toxicity that's said to work really well on genotype 1 that's expected out w/in two years. I asked my dr. about it. He was humble enough to admit he hadn't heard about it, but said he's having dinner with some big deal dr. mid November and will ask her and call me with what he learns. I'm actually liking him much better now. And I love the idea of a less toxic treatment! HCV has been so upfront in my mind lately.At least until mid NOv. I want to let it fade to back burner and go back to enjoying my life and staying healthy a nd positive. I feel so much lighter!
I'll let you all know what he tells me about the new drugs.
