How would you suggest me taking my vitamins during the day.
I have been filling up my pharmacy, with what I consider needing to help me cope with the extreme fatigue I am experiencing since doing treatment.
Also vitamin A, C, D, fish oil, and many others for bones, and muscle, that I cannot think right now.
Let say approximately 7 extra pills a day, besides the prescribed pills I am taking at this time.
Would you be so kind of let me know, before I do start my new regiment.
Any suggestions would also be appreciated.
Since doing tx, I suffer from:
1. bone disease ostioarthritis
2. muscle cramps
3. narcoleptic
4. extreme fatigue, worst than before tx, since I had no symptoms at all.
5. I am housebound, never go out unless it is necessary, so no sun vit. D.
6. depression.
7. anxiety attacks.
8. dry skin.
9. degenerated bones.
10. bloated stomach, again since doing treatment.
11. sweats the head only at night, and during the day while working in the house, everywhere, really sweat, like dripping.
I am thinking of getting my sweating glands froze with botox at this time.
You should also know that I have COPD Chronic Obtructive Pulmonary Disease, emphysema, according to last test, no pre-monopause as of yet.
Daily prescribed medicine: effexor, 75mgs x 3 / daily.
ventolin, 2 puff morning and night.
advair 2 puff morning and night.
oxycontin slow release 30mgs x 3 / daily.
I love water, so I never changed that from my diet.
I usually eat once a day.
Favorite drink, coffee, green tea, and water of course.
That's about it, if I should be missing something for you to help with my regiment please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Mckenzie

Don't freeze the sweat glands, they are eliminating the toxins from your body. Sweat is a good thing.
Hang on....
I would say, Don't freeze the sweat glands, they are eliminating the toxins from your body. Sweat is a good thing.
Exercise helps with circulation. Sitting at the computer is counter health. I know from personal experience the more I exercise and the less I sit here, the better I feel. Circulation and exercise help to remove toxins from the body. Drinking lots of pure water helps as does taking nice deep breaths. Women tend to be shallow breathers.
Calcium needs to be in a form that is most absorbable by the body, and taken with other things that help it to be assimilated. The basics are calcium and magnesium, 2 to 1 ratio. After lengthy study I chose Jarrow brand Bone Up.

good quality at a reasonable price. I take 3 twice a day or all 6 at once should I forget.

Calcium carbonate is not very absorbable, nor is calcium from oysters or coral. When I get cramps I have Liquid calcium citrate that is more expensive but works very quickly.

This was recommended to me. It comes in several flavors. Make sure it's liquid.
I wonder if the narcolepsy would go away with exercise. Mine did. At first exercise was a real struggle, but now it's much easier. I think it would help with the fatigue too.
You only need a few minutes of sunlight to get your D and it will improve your mood. Plan on sitting outside or taking a short walk when the sun is shining, let it shine on you through a window if that is the best you can do. When I was really sick with Hep C I would lay on my bed with the blinds open and bask in the sun coming through the window. I would stay in bed in the sun until it was noon.
I eat twice a day. I take digestive enzymes with cooked food, helps with the digestive process and the bloating.
I highly recommend this book. On page 117 of the 3rd edition is Troubleshooting for disorders.
Possible causes of bloating include:
alleriges, appendicitis, bowel or kidney obstruction, adrenal disorders, diverticulitis, edema, gall bladder disorders, IBS, kidney disease, lactose intolerance, peptic ulcer, tumor, overeating.
Possible cause of sweating include:
anxiety, alcohol, heart disease, hot/spicy foods, cystic fibrosis, fever, allergies, hormonal imbalance, hyperthyroidism, infection, kidney disease, liver disease, lymphomna, malariea, menopause, overexertion, pneumonia, stress.
Night sweats: AIDS, anxiety, autoimmune disorders, bowel disese, cancer, cardiovascular disease, fever, hepatitis, menopause, sleep apnea, stress, TB, weakened immune system.
Muscle cramps: arthritis, calcium, magnesium and/or potassium deficiency, dehydration, diabetes, hypthyroidism, injury, overuse, poor circulation.
Body aches:
arthritis, infection, influenza, lupus, lyme, overexertion.
Then you can go into the bulk of the book and read what to do for what you feel is the reason for the symptom.
I really think that after Tx, a person needs to detox. Go on a cleanse.
Maybe a week of nothing but raw veggie and fruit juices, freshly made.
I am so sorry that you are suffering so much. Wow am I glad that I did not do the TX route at this point. I often question myself as to whether I'm making the right decision. After reading all of the sides you were left with I think that's worse than the disease itself. Anyway lets talk about you. I see that your on quite a bit of meds, oxycontin 3Xday that's a lot, you must be in some pain. Do you think perhaps you could be having some side effects from the meds? Is there anyway you could find another way to help with your pain? Also you said that you only eat once a day, you really should eat more frequent small meals. Eating more along with light excercise should help. Also for anxiety I started taking 5-htp and what a difference in my anxiety attacks. Before I starting taking it I was at the emergency room, walk in center or Dr.'s office swearing I was dyeing of a heart attack! It was awful! I haven't had a major attack in a long time. Thank goodness. Anyways I hope you find some relief, you're too good of a person to be dealing with so much.

Take herbs between meals.
Some other supplements that are not vitamins, per se, the label will tell you whether to take with or away from food.
A good multi vitamin should be in a capsule and require your taking at least 4 a day.
Balch doesn't have recommendations for recovering from chemotherapy per se, but he has recommendations for Chemical poisoning. I'm going to tell you what he says, and you can think it over, ok?
Recommendations are listed as Very important, Important, and Useful.
Very Important.
Free-form amino acid complex. Helps liver function.
Spirulina and chlorella are not on the list but they are easily assimilated forms of amino acids that are useful for detox.

That's a 39 page book online that really gets into these two super foods. They literally gave me back my energy after everything else failed. I took the maximum doses as recommended in the book.
Raw garlic helps to detoxify the blood and chelates heavy metals.
Peel and press or crush and let sit for 10 minutes, then add to any suitable recipe after it is done cooking to minimize destruction of the allicin.
raw liver extract supplies needed B vitamins and iron, and detoxifies chemicals.
SOD is a powerful free radical destroyer.
vitamin B complex - protects the liver and bodily functions. I take one that is coenzymated and is taken on an empty stomach - the liver doesn't have to process it.
Vitamin C with bioflavanoids protects the body from pollutants and aid in the elimination of toxic substance. Take 5-20 grams daily, in divided doses. All at once may cause diarrhea. I take mine between meals.
Important
grape seed extract is a powerful antioxidant
L-cysteine and L-methionine, take 500 mg daily on empty stomach with water or juice, not milk. Take with B6 and C for better absorption.
Selenium, 200 mcg daily, with C and E detoxifies the body.
Vitamin E, 400-800 IU daily, powerful antioxidant, use d-alpha-tocopheral. (dl-alpha-tocopherol is synthetic, avoid) I take one with mixed tocopherols, recommended by ND.
Helpful
CoQ10 aids in rebuilding the immuse system and brings oxygen to the cells.
