I read about how HCV can cause renal disease. I know that diet, gratitude,e tc. will help all the organs, but is there something specific we should be doing to protect our kidneys? Any other organs that can fail from HCV?
So what can we do about it? I'd lvoe help for eyes. My vision is blurry and I had Lasik and was 20/15 for years. Now I'm 20/40 but worse when I'm tired.
I have a theory. Hep C affects the capability of the liver to process toxins and function in the body, doing all its many many jobs. SO just about anything can go wrong, depending on YOUR own genetic makeup, and inherent weaknesses and strengths. The first thing that went for me was eyesight, and my hair began to gray. Then I notices I seemed to have more gas, indigestion, although nothing serious. Which reminds me of a funny incident when I accidentally farted in front of my girlfriend and her fiance when I was kneeling on the floor, trying to get some popcorn out of a hot skillet, and he said the punchline of the joke just as I leaned forward and accidentally touched the skillet with my forearm and got burned. And 3 pressures all at once and I farted. I was 24. Barbara was mortified. She gave me a 15 minute lecture on "ladies do not fart, they go to the bathroom, sit on the toilet, and pull their butt cheek apart so the air escapes SILENTLY" ---I'm still laughing about her need to look good. I hope you all got a good laugh! If you laugh hard enough, you just might fart too! ha ha!
Good Laugh...My Mom always said "ladies don't fart", at all! I always wondered where all that gas went.....for the longest time I was so afraid of letting it rip infront of anybody...now...hey if I have to I try to do it when nobody is around..but spreading cheeks and stuff like that....no...too much work!
Ha! It has been a while since I have been on this site but ' pulling your butt checks apart?'t That is way too funny! I say it can't be good for you to hold it all in-let it rip, in private of course, I am from the South:)
The first thing that happened with my last pregnancy, i was allergic to my pregnancy. When hubby found out i was preggers he got sarcastic and said, what the hell were you thinking??? Then he said i probably cheated on him. I was devastated. I spotted @ 10 & 14 weeks, placenta next to cervix, spent the next 5 months in bed. And i itched all over! I would take baths several times during the night, using baking soda, or oatmeal, or canned milk, or oil, in the water. The relief didn't last for long. As soon as my son was born the itching stopped. He was born needing corrective surgery on his penis. This was about 6 years after a rhogam shot that may have given me the virus. My 3 other pregnancies were simple and absolutely no problems. I sense the virus combined with the rejection and of course, carrying a child is plenty in itself. Still, that was in 85 and it would be 8 years until Hep C gets a name.

This made me chuckle and laugh out loud, but it did not make me fart.
