i know just how you feel, i am trying to be patient too. It should show up if your meds didn't work, but then i didn't show up until 2 years after my round with interferon. I tested negative 4 months after,

Hello havhope, I am not sure when it became detected. I was clear at 4 months then tested a year and a half later and showed detected. (that was after the 11 months of interferon + riba. years earlier). That stuff didn't have a very good success rate.
After the vikera pac + riba, i was undetected all through the 24 weeks, but have to wait 4 more months for my 6 month results.
I think about it some but mostly busy with life and enjoying how soo much better i feel. It has been so long since i have felt this good.
Through it all, this might sound a little odd, but i am really thankful for the experience. I have grown strong in faith and hope in God in ways i never would had i not had these challenges.
Like many of us here, my life has been full of hardships, and God has always brought me through not only just victorious but better because of each challenge. Whatever life throws at me i know i will get through it.
Without this challenge i wouldn't have found such wonderful friends like all of you who i love dearly.
I know havhope that you will feel better. It seems to take a while for the ribaviron to get out of the system.
THanks, e veryone. I don't know when I'll get the results. Last time it was really quick. I called today and am waiting for a call back. I'll post as soon as I know.
So I'm OK!!!!! ( I Think). The nurse reading the results was from my GYN's office (I wrote in the viral load test onto a blood test form they gave me for other tests). She said all my hepatic functions are normal. When I asked about the viral load, she said, "less than something" and "undetectable." But why under some number? Is that just how they list it? I'm guessing if the virus were back, my enzymes would be elevated (they were for 30 years.) So yahoo!!!!!!
