and mammogram (for which I'm 6 months late) In yoga they say these things disrupt the energy body. Anything to do for the physical body?
I also got bloods done yesterday. They're running platelets for the first time in a year. When I get all these results, I will go for a second opinion. I really want a conventional dr. to say "I found a great alternative treatment." I know that won't happen, b ut second best would be "wait for the better stuff in 2 years. You have time" which I know they can't really do w/out a biopsy. Third best would be "Do TX and i'll coordinate alternative stuff with it to help with the sides." When my friend was doing chemo for breast cancer, her alternative dr. and her oncologist worked as a team. But I don't know anyone like that at all, and definitely not someone who takes my insurance.
I'm feeling really sad and anxious as I move forward with this process. Maybe once everything is settled I'll feel better...
We will be thinking of ya tomorrow Brigid - and hope that all goes smoothly.

Mammograms - I've had ONE. I was 35, they hurt my breast. Instinct said it was not a good thing. Last thing I got done was a picture thing. You put your hands in cool water, then put them up in the air, and they take a picture of your breasts with a special camera, it show any pockets of inflammation. It was cool, and I didn't get hurt.
Will be sending love and good energies for everything to go well tomorrow. Don't worry, be happy!

Best to you sweetie Brigid, my thoughts and prayers are being sent. I do so care about you. We are like a family and when one of us is hurting i feel the pain too.
I believe that is what God meant in the bible when he told us to bear one another's burdens.
Thanks guys for the support. I made it through the day, though I have such an aversion to the whole "patient" thing, I don't know how I'll make it through TX. First , the mammogram lady talked way too much. Then I was doing ok in hte mRI, breathing deeply even though the technitian is one of those smokers that exudes cigarette toxins through their skin so I was having allergies from our brief contact. But I'm breathing, repeating "let them get the images they need", trying to be still. All is fine until he says, "we're going to pull you out now" and I think they're done and then he says "For the shot your dr. told you about." What shot? My dr. told me nothing. Apparently he ordered me injected w/dye to read the images better. So nice of him to prepare me. So they do this, and I can feel the dye through my body. Even the MRT itself made me dizzy and spacey like being in front of an HD tv (I wonder if it's the same frequency) But then they added the dye and now I'm headachy and ill hours later. I am so sensitive to all this stuff -- that either means I'll respond really well to TX or that I won't be able to take it. HOpefully it will be out of my system by tomorrow. ANd I should have the results (I asked them to mail a copy to me) and of the bloodwork by TUes. I see how all this medical stuff can take over one's life. If I do TX i will really have to surrender to this, because this is how medicine and drs work and i'm not used to it at all.
Glad that is behind you, and so sorry they sprung the dye on you.... its hard enough when you think you know what is going on.....
this upcoming week will be a 'surrender to the docs' week for me--- i have my liver bioposy thurs p.m. and now have scheduled a nuclear stress test (5 hrs, with dye) for wed. fasting before each, but the worst is no coffee for 24 hrs before the nuclear stress test.... Hoping to not have dye sensitivity, but my liver notices a little slice of cheese these days, so i am guessing i could.... I am gonna bring a really good book!
Do share the news you get.... I hope it gives you clear and useful info that will guide you to your next steps!
