When I joined this group, I thought only people in the group could see posts. Now that I realize my posts come up every time someone googles Revici or certain famous poets, I want to delete everything I've written about sex, drugs, shame, or anything else vulnerable. I wrote to DS and asked them to, but I haven't heard back. Do I have to delete them one at a time, or is there a way to delete everything. Don't worry, I'll repost the mousse recipe! (I'm now down to 1/2 cup agave for 6 avacados.)
I'm always wary about what I post too, though some don't seem to feel such a need for privacy and even post their real life photos.
I worry some stalker might come after me or something - like someone I know from some other part of the internet.
It is just a weird feeling to know that anything you write here can be read by the entire world isn't it?
Although I know rationally few people ever make their way to this little corner of the internet.
What do you mean promote me? I don't want to close my account, just delete old posts.
I love that we can be so honest here, but I don't want things kicking around forever. No, Brigid isn't my real name, but there are people who search for me online to try and find out personal info (It's related to my work and I understand the curiosity). Also, I've been thinking of getting more involved in local politics and I want to be sure there's nothing they could find. Maybe i'm a bit paranoid, but better safe than exposed.
