For the last month I've been so low energy it's scary. Not like me at all. Exercise only works short term. I wake up tired and drag through the day. Even started with caffeine in the morning, which I've never done in my life (1 or 2 sq. of 80% dark, raw agave sweetened chocolate) Doing yoga, s;pirulina/greens smoothies every day. I'm not sure what I can change. I went back on the B12/secret ingredient shots tonight -- I hope that helps. Is this HCV related or something else? I've been walking/training my dog a lot, and that's very tiring -- all that focus. Any energy-giving ideas that i'm not already doing?
Brigid, I think I'm doing everything right, only I get upset easily. I feel fine afternoon and at night, and wake up more exhausted than when I went to bed. Only thing that seems to help is the coffee enemas, which clean out the liver and help it to function and detox. I think it's the HCV and the liver.
I've been quite resistant to coffee enemas -- the whole ick factor of enemas, not to mention that I'm really sensitive to caffeine and have (until recently) avoided it. I put Preparation H on my eyes for my wedding (The make up person told me it's what all the models do) and it really un-puffed them, but boy was I flying from the caffeine high (Which was fine on my wedding day but not in general) I actually feel normal this morning because of the shot, though achy at the injection site. If this doesn't hold, I may bite the bullet and try the coffee.
Briged, I too have the run down feeling lately. Could be the herbs i am talking for building immune system are causing my body to fight things off and maybe just the nature of the hcv.
I stay pretty active, work full time, 2 german shepherd dogs, gardening fishing, housework etc.
Thyroid issues go hand in hand with HCV.
Could also be fatty liver depending on your size.
Many times getting tested by an MD will show normal thyroid levels, when in fact they are off.
Just something to research.
I find this website very informative. www.liverdoctor.com
There are many FOODS that will also adversely affect your thyroid health.
