My B12 level is 184. I guess normal is 200-1100. My doctor's office just called to let me know about getting B12 shots since I guess the oral B12 doesn't work well. Anyone else going through this? Just wondering.

All I was told so far was that my B12 was low. I don't know if they are going to have me do the shots and retest and if it's still low to check for pernicious anemia or if I should ask my doc about testing for pernicious anemia now. If anyone has experience with this and has an opinion I would be interested. Thanks.

I just got my test results back and I'm at 316 pg/ml. My doc wants me to start with B12 injections. I hope they'll increase my energy levels that would be great!.

I always do! I get B-12 Shots from my doctor!

I had low b-12 levels. I am currently getting the shots. My b-12 was 193 and my endo told me to get shots. I have had 3 so far and I am in the upper 200's now.

I also get B-12 shots once a month. I don't really feel any different. Still have the fatigue bad.

Well, I would be the different one. My last blood tests show my b-12 is too high! Doesn't give me a number.....maybe I'd better double check.

Interesting. I may have to get checked for that. However I take a b12 supplement daily.
