God's Loving Home Community Group
This group is for anyone who was abused, neglected, censored or targeted while you searched for the religious answers to your life. God's Loving Home is a place where you can feel safe, loved, supported and welcomed regardless of where you are in life. Welcome home sisters and brothers we are honored to have you here!

I was raised in a very struck church-going, Bible-reading environment.
But, unlike many others raised in that way, I am very...diferent.
I not a "sing in the choir, Bible toting Christian.
I believe that Jesus reached out to the outcast...those on the margins. The "religious" leaders of his day very much disappointed him.
As a matter of fact, my favorite thing he said to them was:
Matthew 23:27-28 New King James Version (NKJV)
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
So, you and I have many beliefs in common. Yes, I do believe we should be friends.
There are so many people that are hurting in the world I just wanted to create a site where people from all backgrounds can come to as a family!
When a person chooses to live a religious life it is a very personal and sometimes difficult path to follow.
There are so many questions, so many differing opinions and beliefs of what the great Divine truly is?
I just wanted to create a site to make everyone feel welcome and safe to explore what the great Divine means to them and to comfort them that people of different faiths have the common goal that we have as well.
To understand our Divine, why we are here in this world and why it is so important to have love in our life and for the people we are so blessed to have in our life.
I come from many backgrounds and have seen many religions as well as for the people who choose to live a secular life.
In every religion I have seen and the people I met, I have seen the love that is within their being and their desire to do good.
It gives me comfort and hope in humanity that our lives lived here are not in vain and as we explore the answers to our religious questions we can find out as a family what our purpose for being here truly is!
You see, the "church" (in the beginning) was a community of people who meet wherever they could. What was important was that they met...together! The building didn't matter.
Now days, we associate the word with the building. Being a member of Any church doesn't make you a Christian any more than sitting in a garage makes you a car.
I am way different than most "Christians" you might meet today. And, yes, some can be cults.
Buy, not me. My "church" community is NOT mine. It's God's. First and foremost.
Just thought is put in my two cents. Let's connect. I think we might just hit it off!!!
