we are cleaning/downsizing the house, I am looking for a new job so we can move out of where we are now and I am taking care of my bees, that is about it. Nothing all that fun or spring breakish as some I am sure but I guess its how life is sometimes.

I am still in the midst of having some renos done in my apt. More yet to come. Will take until late July for the last of it to be done. All that remains are plastering in the spare bedroom, that I hope to turn into a sewing room.
It's Pride month here in Toronto & I find myself in an awkward situation...Since I decided to remain in my place, which is an hour by transit from the LGBT community and also not to frequent the main LBGT church (where I was betrayed by someone), I find myself retreating back into "the closet". I decided to make the effort at my old church to just go and worship & just "be". The main church social event, a BBQ, is coming up and happens to fall on the same day as the big Pride Parade here. Now what do I do? I feel like I'm being forced to choose between "the closet" where I happen to be somewhat comfortable or the opportunity to meet & socialize with more Lesbian Women my own age. It's going to take some sorting out for me.
