A group of Boy Scouts from the city was on a camping trip. The mosquitoes were so persistent that the youngsters had to hide under the blankets to keep from being bitten.

Then on seeing some lightening bugs, one boy said to his friend: " We might as well give up. They're coming after us with flashlights!"

Hahaha....many camping in Louisiana memories! It's wild when you can actually Hear the things coming over the water!

Yup. LARGE groups of mosquitoes! Has to be heard to be believed. Didn't believe till I heard. The state bird!

Yes, it can be hard if you don't have a tent for some reason!
Thankfully, we bought one some time ago and now I think of buying a camping pad: https://activegeardirect.com/best-camping-sleeping-pads-top-5/ Mosquitoes are one thing, but if you want to sleep comfortable enough, a good sleeping pad is needed for sure - you don't want to have muscle aches the next day...
