I wish I could say that... but I chose a path many years ago that I sometimes now regret. Do you have any incidences you might tell us about?

Things have been quiet for me recently, but I sure as heck know there's something beyond this life!

Most here have some level of belief---skeptics usually don't stick around too long, and they definitely AREN'T allowed to attack anyone personally, or make you feel bad. So don't have any fear about sharing.

I haven't had any experiences since I saw my daughter in the hospital, but my youngest daughter, Samantha has always had experiences. She also hears voices speaking to her. She is afraid to speak of that to anyone because she thinks they will think she's insane.

Let me tell you about her most vivid experience, even though it is not about a ghost:

My daughter is bipolar and is on several medications. Back in May of 2006 she was given Abilify. She immediately began having waking dreams. One night she came into my room crying and told me that she had a vision of her hands holding a knife and full of blood. She knew that it somehow had to do with her oldest sister, Yolanda. She could only think that she had stabbed her. The next day we asked her doctor to take her off of the Abilify thinking the dream was a side effect.

On June 16 of that year, a girl who was high on meth broke into our home and stabbed Yolanda to death, then stabbed her daughter, Megan, Samantha and me. We all survived. Samantha tried to save me from the girl and was chased by her out into our neighbors front yard. There, they fought for the knife and after Samantha had been stabbed 14 times and had her throat cut, miraculously, she took the knife away from the girl and was able to come back inside of the house until the police arrived. It took us a couple of weeks to figure out that what we had thought was a side effect of her medication was actually a vision of something that was going to happen in the future.

She has had many experiences. Most of the time she is afraid of them, especially after the attack.

First allow me to say how sorry I feel for your family and that you have my sympathy and respect for your feelings as well as my understanding. So you see II can understand completely why your daughter was concerned about people thinking she was crazy, calling someone crazy is a way for folks to push things that are uncomfortable out of their minds. They dont have to think about what happened or why if they can just chalk it up to some ones fantasy. Next you have the medication Abilify with its reputation for causing sleep walking and hallucinations. I have a son (PTSD courtesy of Afghanistan) that was put on Ambient. He woke up in the parking lot at 4 am and had some very wild dreams before the doctor gave in and removed that medication. Well the bipolar diagnosis, vivid dream while on Abilify, and other factors would make it easy for those that choose to not consider the rather uncomfortable reality that we are all in a position to be attacked, to label it "Crazy" instead of dealing with the possibilities means we can forget this notion. Jean, I hope and pray your daughter doesnt blame her self for not acting to stop the attack when she was fore warned, she really had no way of knowing the dream was real, especially while taking that drug Abilify.

She used to blame herself at first. I guess it is survivors guilt. We all felt guilty for being alive when Yolanda didn't make it. But she and I felt especially guilty for not seeing the signs. But we have come to realize that life isn't just black and white. We couldn't possibly have felt this was really going to happen. It was so far away from our reality back then. But I know one thing, I will never doubt her abilities again. She tries to close herself off because she doesn't want to see something like that again. I don't know if that will stop them.
