Hi everyone , I was sad to log back in and see no response to my introduction . But that's o.k. I did a lot of thinking about what I said , about getting unstuck and I came to a possible answer. Well I should say one possible answer. And that would be acceptance. Acceptance isn't always easy to do when your mind is going in circles about how stuck you are and how hopeless you feel being there. I'm learning it might be the first step to freedom . Its almost as if you have to let go of the prison thought of having no choices and except that you can't do anything about it.. At least as of right now. So my thought for the day is free yourself by letting go. I hope this helps. Keep looking up and breath. Take care.
Hi again Vera. Just wanted to follow up on your more recent post about healing. I started to look at it like folks go through other struggles. The old saying about admitting it is the first step...as you put it "acceptance." I learned to accept the bad days because that is part of the process. I treated myself in little ways almost like little gifts to myself. I allowed myself to grieve. In time these darker days became fewer and fewer. On the rare setback days I just tell myself to accept it as another small bad day but remind myself how many more good days there are now and that the bad days keep getting farther and farther apart... I just accept this but also remind myself of my progress and to look forward. Keep it up and please update us!
