He needs to be here with us positive people. Thinking of taking me and my walker for short than a bit longer walks. If I had a cement path outside my front up to one at corner I would be. But its uneven rough lawns. Neighbors seldom mowed, and just doesn't feel safe, I have tried it. Maybe Anita has given me an idea with hiring a treadmill to see. Since we downsized drastically, were could one go. Wonder if they would let me try one first at hire place. Need rails to hold for balance. Be safe at home, and no rains to stop you. Wish it would rain all over for a few days, we so need it. Hope nuro apt is confirmed soon so can do things like both of you. Your both an example to us to look to.
Hooray for the progress everyone's making! I've proven to myself that I can get things done IF I'll just move my rear and get going. This morning I was on the mainland ( I live in a small island community ) at 8:30 and went to four stores , as well as dropping in on my drug czar ( psychiatrist) to talk about meds. I was home at 12:15, in time to get some food before the 12 inches of snow began to fall. After reading what everyone is doing, no more excuses for me . Instead of wondering what to do , I"ll 'just do the next thing" - whatever I see that needs to be done.
As a wise quote says : "Always remember-
You are braver than you believe , ( look at what we attempt to do !)
Stronger than you seem ( we're accomplishing things despite difficulties)
And smarter than you think" ( we find ways to get around our circumstances)
Thank you, Winnie the Pooh
Awesome what all of you have achieved. I am still in the working on it stage. I'll let you know when I get there.
Keep up the determination.
