Hope its ok to join here. I have Type 1 diabetes (for 30 years) and I am now 14 weeks pregnant. I joined this group because it is really hard to find type 1's that are pregnant. (I have checked all the pregnancy and fertility boards).Problem with type 1 is that the diabetes is there during the very early organ development (heart, spinal cord, etc.). Very scary. My sugars are really good though (60-140). I use the insulin pump. Hope we can all help each other out here.

I have a girlfriend who is just like you. She it also Type 1 with a pump, and had her first baby about 6 months ago. I suppose I should have made the group more broad, to include all women with diabetes that are pregnant. It is so scary. Good luck with your pregnancy, I wish you the best.
