We got back the test results and it turns out she has cancer in fact she has leukemia. She has to stay at the hosptial which is a 3 hour drive from where we live but you do what you have to in times like this. She will be staying in the hospital for a month. The first week she will feel the best and then she will start feeling really bad.
For 3 days now ever since I found out I've been crying non stopped and I don't get to go down and see her because someone has to stay here with the animals and I don't have a car and can't even drive. So the first day I was just alone crying my eyes out.
I was thinking about the fact that I'm the "sick one" of the family everyone has said that so I don't understand why this didn't come on me. I mean my sister has a just turned 3 year old that she needs to raise. If I could I would switch places with her in a second.
My family is all getting together tomorrow to talk about what needs to be done. I mean even my father is flying in for this and that's big if you knew my father. He didn't even come in for one of my brain surgeries. I'm just afraid that I'm going to break down when I see my sister sitting in that hospital bed because I know it should be me.
Please pray for my sister!!!
Love you ..Your family is now in my prayers..
My siblings and I give our blood to see if we are going to be a bone marrow match for my sister. We had to go down and get a hospital number but I already had one because the hospital my sister is staying in is the sameone that I stayed in when I had my accident in 1988.
The saddest part of the day was when my sister came back from taking a nap and she was crying. If you know my sister you know she does not cry something big has got to be going on. She told us she needed to ask us if she didn't make it, God forbid, could we love her little girl like she does because she's been thru enough. My sister adopted her daughter from an HIV and heroin user of a biological mother. My sister's little girl was born weighing only 2 lbs. and she has the scars in her hand where the I.V. line was.
But my sister said that she knows that her little girl can be a handle full some times but just if my sister is not there just tell her that Mommy's loves her. I was crying, and crying, I looked over at my Dad who doesn't do well with emotions and he was crying too.
That's why I still want to trade places with my sister

Thank you for the much needed prayers. We just got the news that one of my older sister's the one who has been looking after my sister's daughter while she's been in the hospital is in fact a bone marrow match for my sister...YAY!!!!
My sister's doctor also did a biopsy and it came back clean so she doesn't need anymore chemo right now. All good things, my sister can't leave the hospital yet but one day at a time.
I'm just happy that she doesn't have to do chemo for right now. It was really taking a toll on her. So all good things for right now!!!!
Please just keep the prayers going though!!!! Thank you both so much!!!!
. We love you dear.

I do have Faith in Jesus that he will see what is right and I believe that my sister will fight this with everything in her body because she has this little girl of hers to get back too.
Thanks again for your prayers!!!
GOD BLESS YOU..
