Hey, it's been awhile, but I figured I would just throw some discussion topics out there just for the hell of it. But, it's not every day that you meet someone in the military or whom is going into the military soooooo, tell us how you and your soldier met! :D
The first one was a girl I had already been with for 2 years. When I first met her, she was going into the Airforce, but then quickly changed her mind because they kept screwing her over on when she might leave for Basic. Fast forward a year and some, she then decides that getting out of her chance to be military was dumb, but rather than go Airforce again, her brother has talked her into joining the Army (her other brother is a Marine but she knew she could not handle doing that).
So, she joined the Army and got herself sent off to Germany where I followed her. we were together for 4.5 years and during that time I joined this site and MSOS to help with the fact that we were a lesbian couple and could not be together like I wanted us to. Um...the relationship between her and I ended about 7-months ago, and I went and found myself someone else.
This new soldier I am with I met through my last g/f. She was in Germany with us, and she came to my rescue after my ex kicked me off of the base in Germany with nowhere to go since the trains were on strike. Me and this new soldier were not exactly close, but we had built a bond the very few times we had seen each other. We had this strange connection neither one of us could explain, and thus, when I started staying with her, it was not long before the pieces all fell together and we realized that we were in love.
I left Germany in November but then sold my company stocks to fly back there to stay with my new girl until she went back home state side. We are spending the next 2 months apart before I move with her to her next base (since she lives off post), and we have been together for about 6-motnhs and are still going strong I would say :)
