What are some vining plants y'all have had good luck with?
This year I planted something called lemon peel black eyed Susan vine. After the torrential rains earlier in the season, it got hot and dry. Most stuff died or looks messy but that vine is so pretty and vibrant all over the porch railings next to my purple Clematis.
I don't like morning glories as they take over, honeysuckle does the same. They are good to cover old fences tho.
I don't have good luck with training roses. What about you guys?

No it's just a bright yellow like lemon :/ kinda disappointing.

My dad did scarlet runner beans. They were incredibly easy to grow and go to town. Had a lot of bright green foliage and when they flowered they had shoots of small red blooms . Not a perennial, but they did usually reseed themselves and reappear. (If I remember correctly, the seeds looked like pink lima beans with purple spots. And while they do easily cover , they don't actually choke out other plants as the morning glories do)
