There is an old well in front of my house from when my parents first moved there. Last I knew, it was partially collapsed. I need to investigate and see if it is still useable. I'd like to at least use it to water my garden and animals.
It is currently buried under a small flower bed full of honey suckle and yucca. If the well can be salvaged and rebuilt safely, I would like to make a little flower garden/mulched seating area around it with a pergola or trellises. My mom had a rose garden there when I was little.
It will be alot of work and maybe dangerous. I may have to hire someone to help me, and it may be far down on the to do list to where I don't get to it this year. My porch is sagging and needs hired help worse than a collapsed well.
