Hi everyone....was wondering if anyone has a guide for working the steps....I have been through NA and AA but want to do them again for my compulsive gambling addiction. I would appreciate anyone who has anything to offer about how to get started....again :)

Went to my second GA meeting yesterday and one of the members gave me a Step One workbook. I'm not sure if there are workbooks for the other steps.

I think that all the steps are covered....somewhere on this group.

Hi my name is neil and like you i attend aa ,where i went hrough steps 1-12 with a sponsor developing a higher power and experincing an awakening.

In GA there is not the same level of desperation to apply with rigorous honesty the 12 steps of recovery.

In GA they call them 12 principles in that way cherry picking the steps becamethe norm.
GA 12th step anounces having wored these principles in all our afaires we carry this mesage.

In AA it says having had a siritual awakening as a result of these steps we carry this message .
