Furries United Community Group
I have been searching high and low for people like me who are furries...or who support us. it is an odd concept to sometimes feel you should have been born with a tail or only be truelly opened up when someone knows your furry side. please please please join, post furry pictures, write stories, meet other furries. just keep it clean please.
So...I saw that this group really had no topics listed, and as someone that is indeed a Furry and would like to see more of us coming together, I decided to take that step and write something that we can all talk about: "Our Fursona".
For some, our Fursona is merely the animal we wish we could be...and for others it is an alter-ego. We use them for role-plays, sometimes they really do become our main identity...and so, I think it would be really cool to talk about what animals inspire us, drive us, and whom have made us into the beings that we are today ;)
So, what animal are you and why? Does it have a name? When did you find out about the creature living inside your heart and mind? What put it there? Etc.

Bio: So...Miarene was the first Fursona I ever came up with. As someone who is obsessed with wolves, their heirarchy system, and power in general (that and I love studying lycanthropy), a wolf just fit for me. Her blue fur and hair are because of my favorite color being blue, and she is a winged-wolf because most people I have known have in some way compared me to that of an angel.
Mia has changed as I have changed because she is me. She is not an alter-ego or roleplaying personality...she is me, I am her, we are one. She shares my name and as I grow, she grows as well. So naturally, her personality has changed with time. She went from being this hormone-crazed teenager that was in love with everyone and everything to an attention-grabber...then she went through her self-discovery phase until she realized she was indeed a lesbian and that loving woman showed her a happiness she never knew existed before. She has felt love and loss with me...and even lost her wings for a time when my last lover (of 4.5 years) emotionally ripped them right from my back with her mental abuse.
Now her wings are growing in again thanks to another wolf who picked up the pieces of her heart and they are slowly trying to patch each other back together night-by-night that they share.
Since our personalities are mirrored, Miarene is mostly quiet, introverted, and loyal. She is Beta to a loner that might some day evolve into her own pack (she is hoping). She smiles more often than she used to and is finding her voice again. She starts off quiet in most social situations but quickly becomes the loudest one there and the one getting the most laughs due to her sense of humor.
Kind, caring, compassionate...her flaw is that she loves to hard and too deeply sometimes and gets involved with things she shouldn't. She is empathic and the emotions of others can easily become her own.

Bio: EshBa'al...the Flame of the Emperor and God Ba'al...a burning fire of passion and pure power, and the complete opposite of what I am on the outside, and thus the opposite and alter-ego of Miarene.
While the situation is somewhat personal and the details are a little TMI, the person I am with now is a furry.
This is my first time dating another furry and it was during our love-making that she said I had a beast chained inside of me, just wanting and waiting to be set free. She said she could feel it, she knew it hungered for love, it was lusting for all the attention it could get because it had been starved for so long. She said she had seen this side of me multiple times during out lovemaking where my eyes would glow and it was as if I had become a completely different person.
Passion changes me, I knew this...but it's always hard for me to accept that I do have that confident, assertive, and more aggressive side to me. Perhaps because I fear it...
But, because my partner knew it was there, and because I like giving a face to all my sides...Exith was born out of that with red, blazing fur, and eyes that glow like embers in a fire.
Her manner is crazy, she is highly intelligent, cunning, and always eager. She finds pleasure in all things, and the only reason she is listed as Bi-sexual is because her lover (the one I ship her with) is the more lustful side of my partner which is a male wolf even though she herself is a female.
She believes in love but believes firstly in pleasure above all else, and thinks life is all about fun and risk-taking. thus, she is a daredevil always leaping before she looks, and is beauty, passion, and power all in one package. Unlike Miarene which is mostly bare, Exith sports a leather color and leather bracers on her arms.
Especially when being ourselves means going under fire by those that do not understand. I would like to think we all come out better in the end.
