im scared to tell people im trans because my school has few transgenders and the ones who are trans are all in the upper grades

Only tell people when you feel confident. It's great that your school has trans people even if they're in the upper grades because it means your school has accommodations for you. Maybe start with close friends and then start coming out to more and more people. I just came out to my favorite teacher yesterday which was hard but definitely worth it. Don't worry and remember to be you!!
