Okay, we all know what it's like to be sick enough so that everything is stress, and every little thing is pressure.
Usually, when I get the "you don't look sick" line, I am polite and say "I have a hidden disability that I'd rather not discuss." But yesterday, I near killed myself grocery shopping in Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is always awful, way too big, but can't afford to shop anywhere else. I tend to put off shopping as long as there's SOMETHING for my DOGS to eat, so when I go to Wal-Mart, I get a lot. The act of pushing a loaded cart around a huge store, and waiting in line forever, and unloading all those groceries (I have no help) does me in for the next few days.
So yesterday, I was irritable when I got to my car, which was parked in a handicapped space and has a handicapped parking placard in the window.
A total stranger said, "You obviously aren't disabled; you shouldn't park there." I said I have an illness. She persisted and said, "You don't look sick."
I'd had it at that point with trying to be polite, so I snapped. I said "And YOU don't look STUPID." And I laughed my way home.

Well as i was reading this i was thinking all about the people that come up to me when i park in a disabled bay and has also a disabled card. I had this man man come up to me once, and said you should not be parked there. Well i said to him maybe you should go and have your eyes tested and get some glasses. Look in the front of my car the next time. He did not now what to say to me. I think people should ask before saying such things.
